Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.

Day 9

We took our time at the hotel. Got a really good breakfast with protein!! YEAH!!! We then went to hang out with Gene and Cindy for a bit. Lynn came out too with 3 of her kids and we had a great time sitting around and visiting.

We took off for Nashville at about 3 and got here around 5. It amazes me that people would drive in this traffic everyday. WOW! We checked into the hotel and then walked over to Cracker Barrel for supper. Our first time there. I am not sure if every Cracker Barrel has customer service like this but ours was beyond any we have ever experienced. It was phenomenal!!

We jumped into the van and took a little driving tour of downtown and the Grand Ole Opry. Downtown was alive with neon and music. We were driving down the street when a peddling tavern passed us. Something we had never seen. About 15 people peddling this thing. It had a cover and a driver. Everyone faced the middle which was a large table. We were all amazed. Addy pipes in "That is a good workout!" Not sure any of them are thinking of the dual purpose of drinking and exercise.

Interesting site here is the duck swimming in the pool.

I forgot to mention an unfortunate event while we were at the ocean. Jaycie pooped the beach. While Dean was "cleaning" her up in the ocean, a wave came and knocked his sunglasses off. They were not to be seen again.

We will be in Louisville on day 10 & 11.
