Through the smog of grease smoke, we attempted to make some homemade donuts this morning. The children did not enjoy eating them but had a fantastic time making them. They rolled out the dough, rolled shapes, and really thought the way they expanded in the hot oil was very cool. Then they rolled them in cinnamon sugar and/or powdered sugar.

Psalm 127:3-5
