Psalm 127:3-5
Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.

There always has to be one
The one who has much more energy then me. The one who runs away at Wal Mart. The one who runs when trying to get dressed, because naked is so much better. The one who has perfected no. The one who knows what he wants and when he wants it. The one who is a 20lb wrecking ball, oh and loud!!
This guy Cade, well he has always been a quiet little guy, he plays alone with his guys and cars. He has this imagination that beats no other child we have had. Kyler, well he used to play for a few minutes then take his guys swimming in the toilet. He has gotten a lot better and will play with Cade for quite some time now. For now, the guys have been missing out on all swimming activities.
I have had other children who are little whirlwinds, who leave a mark no matter where they go. Ones who somehow just know when you are reaching a limit with them and then make all effort to be sure to be under your feet including visits while I am attempting an escape in the bathroom. So Kyler and his ways are not new to me. I have seen and dealt with almost all of his efforts at one time or another. However, what makes running away from me in Wal Mart a bit more challenging is the two carts. One filled with groceries and Jaycie, the other filled with coats, a bag, Addy, Cade, and a big empty spot where Kyler should be but is instead in the game area.
One other mile a minute child I have had........Yep Reegan. She was like a tornado on feet. Like Kyler she always has had a real zest for life, I have always called Reegan "a party in a bottle". Interesting side note - she loves to play with him and he really enjoys playing with her.
Funny, how I have some kids who have many similar personality traits. Two other children I have who are a lot alike are Addy and Carter. STRONG WILL!! I would even add bossy when I talk about Addelynn Attitude. Carter has accomplished things that I never thought he would due to pure stubbornness. As I have seen him grow though, I will say he is a great leader. Does not make it easy to parent. But I can see how his/her personalities work towards that of a leader. Again, Addy adores him, and I often refer to her as the female Carter.
Why leave out the other 4? You already know about these two - they have been referred to as many things; ying and yang, thing one and thing two, frick and frack, etc. Their life adventures are just beginning. I super love these two together. What a serious good time. Neither have been strong willed kids or whirlwinds. Cael is an incredibly hard worker and not much comes easy for him, other then a laugh and smile. Quincy is the resident comedian, and has a sense of humor a lot like mine. Quincy is the one who usually has the naughty ideas and either carries them out alone or drags Cael into it with him - I would guess at times for protection. I often refer to Cael as Swagger - he has one. However, Quincy can hold his own, ask the two bigger kids who have called him out to a wrestling match over the last two weeks. As Reegan put it the other day "Quincy made quick work of him".
And here is the beginning and the current end of the story - two incredible girls - Mackenzie and Jaycie. Both as sweet as honey. I am truly blessed. I love each one of these incredible gifts from God. Hard or easy personalities, I am constantly learning, growing, and changing. My cup overflows.

Such a fun post. I'm glad I found your blog! I look forward to reading about your family. You know I can double up all of my younger 6 kids to each of the older 6 kids. Each one has another just like them. Partners in crime maybe!
