Psalm 127:3-5

Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.

Psalm 127:3-5

Wow, I am a bit behind here

Gee Whiz, I am a bit tardy on keeping this up to date, shame on me.

Mackenzie started her senior year today and Carter 7th grade. The rest of the children I think will start on Sept 1. Reegan in 4th grade, Cael in 3rd grade, Quincy in 1st grade, and Addelynn in AK. My sister Janice took a first round shoot of Mackenzie's senior pictures - they turned out really well. Here are just 2 of about 112.

Dean, Carter, Reegan, Cael, Quincy, and Addy worked some more on the patio, the lime stone is all flattened out, which is sad for the kids because the pile is gone, and the pile is most fun to play in. However, my broom is happy for the pile to be gone because lime stone is just a gritty mess!!

Cael and Quincy are a serious hoot, and I love to watch them play. The other day they set up an obstacle course that ran across the sidewalk, through the side yard, and into the back yard, ending with a jump onto a small trampoline and an attempted slam dunk of a small basketball. Here are a couple of pictures of the course.

Here is Quincy on the sidewalk portion and Cael with the sideyard portion.

Jaycie has lost her sleep manners, I will admit I have been most spoiled by the way she has slept, she has slept all night and taken wonderful naps. Well she is on strike from her beautiful sleep habits, and the retraining begins tonight.
