Shop and Shop

Again, I have not started "book" school with the three younger school aged children but take a look at what they have been spending their days doing. They have been taking old deck boards and revamping the club. A roof has been added, a ladder, a door, and other various things little boys think of doing with boards and about 4lbs of nails. Cael and Quincy have been doing a lot of the work on the upper part. They have spent hours up there pounding nails and making alterations. Carter, Reegan, Addy, Cade, Kyler & Dean have also been a part of the action. I think this is a great educational experience for the kids. A shop class so to speak.

I also got to go shopping with Mackenzie, Addy and Jaycie yesterday for a few hours. Mackenzie has a few things she is in the market for. She had a list of 4 things and we got 2 bought yesterday. She is looking for a new digital camera, one that has quick shutter speed for sports shots, a decent zoom, and small enough to throw in her purse or pocket. If anyone has suggestions please let me know. She also was wanting to get a webcam. She downloaded skype and last night was able to talk to her friends Codey and Lauren, they had some technical difficulties that they worked through. It was pretty funny to see them taking on the phone and on the computer at the same time.

I may have to get another camera for the main computer, I could see this as being a very popular past time here.

Enjoyed a double date with Chris and Janice last Tuesday night. While we were gone here is what Elliott and Cade thought would be fun. Wearing dresses and playing action guys. Funny but WRONG!
