Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.

Weekend tear down and wind down

After many many rains and water in the basement we have decided that the deck needs to come off, we need to slope the ground away from the house, and build a patio. The deck destruction began this weekend. Dean and the boys, and a few neighbor boys tore the deck off, used a skid loader to move a pile of dirt around, and then the kids and Dean kicked back to a nice fire and smores.

Cade, who is always a mess of dirt from head to toe was looking really dirty tonight.

5 days of over 20,000 steps!! YEAH!!!

I think we are down to about 13 ball games left in 8 days of playing time. It has been a fun ride and I will miss our time at the park.
