Over 20, 000 steps two days in a row - super excited. It did require an extra walk last night, but I swung by and picked up my sister, and away we went. Jaycie hung with us in the Moby Wrap, and was cute as a button looking up at me while we were walking.
Rained out again for the ball game yesterday morning, but did get to see Cael whack a triple and the tail end of Reegan's game. Seems crazy but these seasons are almost over already. Tonight we get to watch Quincy and then Carter. We have treats tonight for Quincy's game, "congrats children you just played an ak/k t ball game, here is your swiss cake roll."
Took a trip to town yesterday to pick up some groceries. Again, realized my brain is a bit off when I missed my intended turn into Marion, and thus had to complete the errands I had planned in a backwards manner!
Mackenzie and Carter are off this afternoon on a date to the dentist for a couple of small fillings. It really is nice that she can drive and I can stay home. I can remember as if it were only yesterday me loading up the van with everyone while we drove her to where she needed to be, spending entire days in town, and now she takes herself. Again I have to ask, where does the time go? Reegan is going out on the lake with a friend. She has gotten to go quite a few times and really enjoys herself.
Mackenzie has this great gig working for Sunday-Tuesday. She is helping out this professor over at Cornell care for 4 disabled cats while the person who usually watches the cats is away on vacation. $25.00 for going over to feed and medicate. Pretty cool.
This morning I walked upstairs to open a window and heard a couple of my boys in their rooms making boy noises and doing boy type things, and I smiled and felt really thankful for my children. I do have a good life.

Psalm 127:3-5
Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.
