Psalm 127:3-5

Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.

Psalm 127:3-5

What is this??

These are vocal cord nodules, and they are what Carter has, and he will be getting these surgically removed tomorrow (Friday). He will undergo an outpatient surgery that is scheduled for noon. They are like a callous on the vocal cords. He will be on voice rest for 3 days, and then should be good to go. I am really curious as to what his voice will sound like. We have not heard a normal voice from him since October. Not even sure I remember what he used to sound like. I know that now that it is not as dry outside he has a better voice then he had this winter, and sometimes I think maybe this is unnecessary, but then I remember how hard it was for him to talk all winter, and think ok, lets get these things removed. If you think to pray for him I would appreciate it. He is being very brave, which he is, but he also is a 13 year old boy.

We were without power again last night, I am spoiled by electricity, no doubt about it. Pretty sad how upsetting it is not to have any. I suppose it is because it never seems to go out when it is nice outside and sunny and warm. Just cold, damp, wet and dark!

Jaycie has her two week appt today, I know she is growing very nicely I can see it with my own eyes. Two weeks already, seriously time just goes by quickly.
