Psalm 127:3-5

Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.

Now that's a fire!!

Yesterday I was heading upstairs to take a rare and much needed nap, when I heard the sirens going off. I prayed for the firefighters involved and tucked myself in. Then the kids started going nuts so I decided to investigate as the sirens were sounding very close. One block North of us, stood a century old grain elevator. It was on fire. we watched, took pictures, and video for over an hour. There were many many fire departments here to help as well.

Alliant shut off our power during this, and with it being a dark and dreary day, I in no way wanted to stay at home to eat. We had been blessed with a meal being brought in and a big shout out to the Montgomery family for letting us eat out there, and just adding on to the meal like it is no big deal!!

Well, it was bound to happen sometime, that moment when you no longer live on the new baby adrenaline and you do something stupid. For me, that was two nights ago when I guess I put on a size 3 diaper (Kyler's) sometime in the middle of the night. That would lead to some poop leg in the morning, when the diapers fails to hold anything in! Oh well, pretty minor infraction really.
