Psalm 127:3-5

Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.

Mmmmmmmmmm........................................................

Have you ever sat back and thought about how delicious life is? Drinking in all the joy? There is so much to be thankful for, so much to find joy in, and so much to drink in. Watching my children do things they enjoy, or watching them react to a new sister is like eye candy - delicious. Watching a baby sleep on her daddy's chest, is to be savored.

Jaycie has opened my eyes to how sweet life can really be. Even the sweetest piece of cake may have a bit of shell in one bite, and it ruins that bite, as some days and moments feel in any one's life. But that one bite does not ruin the beauty and sweetness of the rest of the cake.

I have really been enjoying the humor some of my children as off the wall as some of it is, the snotty kisses, licking of babies heads, smiles, dirty feet, grass stained foreheads, birthdays, the smell of a baby and that intense "I love you look" she gets, smiles that light up a room, cuddles, thumb suckers. Pure joy!!
