On May 4, 1993 at 4:14am I gave birth to a 7lbs 13 ounces and 20 inches long, incredibly beautiful baby girl!! Golden blond hair with natural highlights. Our first child. Amazing and we were instantly in love. A family. This little girl won us over ASAP. Daddy's girl in an instant.
She is now a delightful 17 year old, and I do mean delightful, I would even consider her one of my best friends. I love having her here with me each day, and it has been a pleasure to watch her grow up. She still plays the trombone, loves to be in drama, either acting or helping behind the scenes. (sort of full circle from "the stage" to the stage - inside joke you will have to ask her about) She has done mock trial, loves to be in the corn detassling, also is still the pizza queen working at the Pizza Palace. She is off for quite the adventure on Thursday as she takes off with two friends to the Taylor Swift concert in Des Moines. This is quite the week for her, with all sorts of parties and fun things to do. So many that there was a need to wardrobe plan today!!
