Psalm 127:3-5

Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.

Quincy Everett Happel

Quincy Everett Happel, Q-man. He is small but mighty. Right now he loves to talk and talk and tell me all sorts of stories. He is very good on a bike and a ramp. He wrestled this year, and he did real well. He is the one pinning the guy in the top photo. He also played t-ball this year, there is he in a dreamy state of mind playing catcher. He could really whack that ball. Bad hair days are sort of his game too, unless he goes bald which he started doing. I love his blue eyes and freckles. It is rare to find him to far from Cael. They are best buddies. They play catch in the backyard, tag along with Carter to the ball park, ride bikes. He will start school in the fall (home). He asks about it now and then. He loves to go on dates to buy treats, I really think he would have no trouble living on Doritos, candy and gum. We used to say he had a 4 pack a day habit!! When I say small I mean he will be 6 on October and weighs about 35lbs. He comes up to me often and says "I Love you Mom" Man, I love hearing that!!

The girl's room got painted last night, it is really neat. Orange, Green, and a Blue ceiling. Dean is putting wood floor down. It will be rokin' when it is done.

Mackenzie and Reegan went into Cedar Rapids last night to see a movie, Mackenzie drove. Big deal for both of them, and I was glad they had a chance to go together.

Reegan is a FCA camp today doing track and field. We have play practice tonight, and I am hoping the weather holds out so we can go to the golft course for fun and fireworks tonight. I am thinking of taking the kids to the Linn County Fair tomorrow.
