Psalm 127:3-5

Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.

What is going on here

Wow, each day is filled with so much over here, it can be hard to keep it all updated.

Here is a bit of what we have been doing the last week.

Mackenzie is in TN right now, and she did make it to SC as well. She is at a youth conference. The conference is set up to have large breaks in the afternoon, and they have done some fun things during these breaks, the funnest I think is the white water rafting that they did. Wow I am jealous for this. She also saw a baby bear yesterday. I cannot wait to hear how everything was. She left last Thursday and will return Tuesday night.

Carter played one game this week and was rained out of another. His sore neck did not keep him from pitching and getting three hits. He continues to run with his friends most days playing ball and catching frogs. Man, I would like to spend one day in his body.

Reegan played a ballgame, watched some softball with some friends, watched some baseball with some friends, took Addy to the kiddie pool, had an overnight, and is growing up way too quick. She is a good little ball player, hitting one into the outfield the other day. She also had her first night of play practice, where she will be the dog, a role she has been practicing for most of her life.

Cael, not to be outdone since he is the master, also jacked one into the outfield. Watched some ball, played a ball game, played ball with the big kids, had a friend over, and basically plays hard all day long. A very sweaty kid I noticed lately. He too had play practice and has two lines. I am going to love spending the summer at play practice with the kids.

Quincy, one ball game, one practice. Bike riding with Cael and Carter. Running and playing. Busy and even got a nap in this week one day. Even though he is getting older, he can really run that little body down, and about once every two weeks needs a nap.

Addy, got a new bike (actually a boke swap with Gabi) she rides this one a bit faster. She rode all over town yesterday. I am amazed at how far she can ride.

Cade, still like a toy, very busy and tons of fun.

Kyler, sweet sweet Kyler.

We got a huge rain on Friday night, which flooded our basement, our basement, which is our family closet. Not good. Thankfully Chris showed up right as it was flooding, and Dean, Chris, Carter, and a little bit of Cael, kept it from being much higher then an inch in there. The kids played hard in that rain once it stopped lightening. Wow, did they have some fun. Slick and Skeeter and boys came over too. Went to dinner with the adults, then Skeeter and I took the kids to DQ. Fun and Yummy!!!

84,555 was my step count this week, I would like to get just 1 more.

  1. How are you doing for boy clothes for Kyler? I have a ton left over from the garage sale, let me know you need some!
