Psalm 127:3-5

Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.

Cael's birthday, snow, wrestling, and Christmas

Well Cael will be 7 tomorrow, wow, if you know me well, birthday's are hard for me. I just cannot understand where the time goes? He is such a great little guy, has a great sense of humor, and a soft heart for his siblings. Cael had 5 friends over today to have a party, 5 more boys added to the boy heaviness of this house and there was some noise, and a few wrestling matches.

Snow, snow, snow, wind, blowing, cold - wow - the weather is crazy.

The boys are wrestling tomorrow, Dean helped set up brackets, Quincy has 1 kid in his bracket, I guess there are not that many 32lb 5 year olds!! Cael has a full bracket ( this is an 8 man tourney). Carter has 4 state champs in his bracket and 2 runner-ups. If he can come out on top of this one I will continue to be impressed with his God given talent.

We have out of town company tonight, we just met a month ago but seems like we have known each other forever. They are staying tonight, and will wrestle tomorrow as well.

Christmas, I told my children, I felt it odd that we all put up big trees and small nativity scenes. So this year we put up a small tree and the children put together a nativity scene with stuffed animals, it was really cool. Of course Reegan was armed with all the stuffed animals, and shrek and fiona are Joseph and Mary. The kids decided late last week that they wanted the big tree up too. Carter, Mackenzie, Reegan, put it up and they all decorated it, but we put it between the dining room and living room so it was not the center of our attention.
