Psalm 127:3-5

Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.

Mud Bath

Carter played in a baseball tournament this last weekend. It was wet, muddy, and rainy the first day - here is how the boys looked after game two.

I must say I was impressed with Carter, he played 6 positions in 4 games and every inning of the tournament. No, I am not bragging or boasting, but I am saying I am proud of him. I think it is ok to be proud of my children. They are in no way perfect, and as I do make mistakes every day, but I love them to pieces and when I am proud of them, I am ok saying so.

Mackenzie finished up in the fields yesterday. She does love the corn. She drove the machine most of the time this year. This is her on her last day. No I did not do the embarrassing mom deal and go out and take pictures, although I would have if I knew where the field was she was working at. She must have had someone take this photo on their last day.
Here she is with two of her friends who also are drivers.

Reegan, Cael, Quincy, and Addy are at Vacation Bible School this week in the mornings from 9:30-11:30 at the city park. They had a great time this morning and when I went to pick them up I got a bit sidetracked talking to some other moms and well, when the cats away (or distracted) the mice will play and I had three children (Addy, Cade, and Kyler) who rode home soaked from finding their way into the wading pool.

Cade has handed down his cowboots to Kyler. He found another pair. Now they both are out and about sporting their boots. Speaking of Cade I am trying to get him to say his letters correctly. Tonight I was teaching him the "f" and "t" sounds. I was giving him the "f" sound over and over and then would say fire truck. He would repeat it like he always does "bire ruck"
