Psalm 127:3-5

Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.

Ball, ball, and more ball

Sounds like a little boys dream come true, all kinds of ball to play! Well it is bigger boys and girls dreams too, and this is a week to make those dreams come true.

We have multiple games and practices this week for Carter, Reegan, Cael, and Quincy. This week will keep us hopping and we had to call in some help last night. Dean was with Carter in Lowden, I was with Reegan in Lisbon (and Cael, Quincy, Addy, Cade, Kyler, and Jaycie), and then Cael had practice and thankfully one of his coaches came by Reegan's game to pick him up. Reegan played a great game but they came up short, and Dean said Carter also played a great game and they too were beaten.

Mackenzie is away at camp this week, and I am sure she is very much enjoying herself. She had the opportunity to attend a home school prom on Saturday. She was in Muscatine for a dinner, dance, games, and a lock in. Had a fantastic time as well.
