Psalm 127:3-5

Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.

The bad decision

So today my mind was on walking to the junior high game. As I walk out the door, I mention to Mackenzie, that perhaps I should consider driving just in case it rains. I am so tired of it raining and mixing up games causing rescheduling, and then mixing up the rescheduling! So I choose to ignore the fact that it might rain, and in fact do not even check the radar. Half way down it start to sprinkle and then rain a bit harder. We are pretty wet when we arrive and watch one inning from under the cover of the concession stand. Game is called off and now I have 11 kids I need to get home, 9 of my own, 2 extra, 2 bikes, 1 stroller, and 2 bat bags. Mackenzie catches a ride with a teacher from the school who we have never met. Brings us down the van and we begin the load up. That was an adventure. One might think a 15 passenger van as spacious. Well that would not be the case, it is a van filled with seating only! Kyler had to hold the stroller on his lap. No one is any worse for the wear and I hope we created a memory. I also hope Carter realizes someday how special it is to have a family that will support you in what you are doing no matter the weather!!

p.s. I would like to say hi, to a special friend. HI CODEY!!
