Took Carter in to have his post op check up today, he is healing well and will go back in 3 months to have a picture taken of them. Doc says he still has healing to do but is healing well right now. The nodule on the left side was calcifying so it must have been there a while. No cancer in either of them which means he can keep chewing tobacco. hehe!!
We went to the library where I had a most unpleasant experience last week with Quincy. He was looking at this see through piggy bank filled with money and says to me, "hey mom, I wish I could take all this money." I did not think he would take the money but more was thinking about what he would do with all that money, so I asked him what he would do with all that money. Before he could answer me, the librarian butts in with this "then I would need to call the cops, and they would come and take you away and put you in a cell with a big hairy guy!" This is one of those times I wish I had a do over button, if I did I would have addressed her right that minute. However, I chose to ignore her and deal with the fact that my library card had issues; otherwise known as overdue fines. I did email them my displeasure with her butting in with her made up two cents. I understand his choice of words was not the best, but he never attempted to steal, in fact he put money into the bank. They told me she was making a joke just like him. Really? I disagree.
Then we hit Goodwill and wimped out on grocery shopping because it was hot and Jaycie was grumping on us. Not to mention grocery shopping with Carter is fun, but I can think of better things to do with him. I will head back in tonight to get what we need.

Psalm 127:3-5
Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.
