Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.

The Good Things

Here is a picture of Roy, our next door neighbor whose wife of 63 years passed away on Sunday. He is over here yesterday looking for some coolers to keep at his house for all the people coming in for the memorial service on Friday. I took one look at him and just thought he looked so cute, and amazingly good too. I just had to snap a picture. I am not even sure he knew I took it. Then I went and wrapped my arms around him.

Here is another good mail deal, two free samples of Pantene shampoo and conditioner, and a bunch of coupons to buy more!

Spent this morning at Thomas Park where there was a home school play day put on by the gym teacher. Quincy is very fond of her too, and could not wait to show Jaycie off to her. We had a picnic lunch and then I had to get the oil changed in the van. We had a few moments of melt down there and it surprised me a bit. I think the kids were a bit tired and Quincy had some additional spark in his eyes which usually results in some interesting things. Such as he and Cade in the bathroom when I hear a loud roar and a scream. The roar was Quincy, the scream was Cade who I guess thought a roaring Quincy in a dark bathroom at Jiffy Lube was a bit scary. Quincy then sat on a small table which since it is not a chair it fell over and so did he! Cade decided to brave the bathroom again to take a pee and did not shut the door or turn on the light, so Kyler decided to help with one, and shut the door - more screaming!! Made me giggle. Naughty mom. Of course Jaycie slept the whole time at Thomas Park and then woke up wanting to eat at Jiffy Lube, thankfully I have with me at all times (so far) my Udder Cover!! It is udderly delightful, and does a fabulous job over covering me up while I feed.

We are well underway with our crazy ball schedules, and let me say, I am thankful that the kids are with me all day, it would honestly drive me nuts if they were gone all day and then gone at night too. As it is now, it is nice to go with them and get involved or let then get out for a bit and play some ball.
