Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.

Lovely weekend

What a great weekend we just had, finally warming up a little. Not so warm on Saturday morning at 8:00am for a football game. I keep asking myself, why am I sitting here in this cold weather watching my daughter play football. Then she flashes me one of those million dollar smiles, and I know. Or gets the ball and takes off like lightening.

Left Reegan's game and caught Cael's game in Mt Vernon. These little guys are playing well. Cael saved two touchdowns with his excellent run down and flag grabbing.

Spent the rest of the day at my in laws house celebrating Avery and Quincy's birthdays. Had a great time, and spent most of it relaxing and watching college football. Some great games were seen. Almost like a bowl day!

Drove to Newton on Sunday to watch Carter play his last YSF football game. Off to junior high next year. Going to stay with 0 touchdowns for the year. He played quarterback, so not a lot of opportunity to score. He did run down the field with one of his friends as the friend scored and he was prepared to lay down the block of needed. Lisbon won 37-0. Great win, and I was having a proud mamma day for sure.

This week has started out really good, got to hang out with Gabi, Gretchen, and Elliott for a while this morning. Always fun. Elliott tried to get on my list by pulling the plug on my exercise ball. Uncle Dean saved him, by airing it up for me later on!

Mackenzie had band today and then called in to work, Cade is currently screaming for a pacifier and we cannot find one, at 2 1.2 it is time for them to go. Kyler, content to crawl. Not interested in taking those first steps.

It was great to get outside for a while today too. Even had a fire tonight.
