Psalm 127:3-5

Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.

Psalm 127:3-5

The hole, water, no water

There is a big hole in our lower bathroom floor. Dean and some of the children took out all the old rotted sub floor last night. The house smells very earthy. While he had the chance he took some time to dig around the plumbing so that the next time there is an issue with the tub he can fit in a little easier. While digging he hit the line to the sink. No water in the bathroom sink right now. Not really a big deal since there in no toilet in there anyway.

Where there is water is the basement. Again. Not too bad, as Dean has this great set up with some old gutters and the sump. Not sure how this will get fixed, but we do need to get this addressed. We have had a lot of trouble with it.

Mackenzie went with a friend to a cattle auction in Kalona yesterday. Sounds like they had a really nice time.

So far I have walked 82 miles with Leslie Sansone this month. I enjoy her walks and it works for me right now with the pregnancy. May shoot for 3 more tomorrow to end the month on an even note, and I may shoot for just two. I will see. I will track next months goal and progress on the blog.
