Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.

Sweet 16

As previously posted Mackenzie turned 16 on Monday, she had a great "teenage" day. Went to class, out to lunch, shopping, and then bowling. She had a great group of friends join us. We love bowling, not because we are any good at it, but our family has a great time with it. Monday nights at Westdale Bowl are $1 games, shoes, drinks, and hotdogs! We'll be back.

Does she drive? Not yet, she has always been a bit nervous, but now she feels ready, so we will look into getting her signed up for driver's ed. She wants to buy a truck to drive. She is also listening to country music now. Funny girl.

Life always hands you ups and downs. For Mackenzie a great day with friends on Monday, and a sad good bye on Wednesday to two friends who she adores. They are moving to VA.

I am excited for today, I get to take Cael and Quincy to the dentist. I am eager t spend time with the two of them, they are so funny, and I anticipate the laughter.

State freestyle and greco this weekend. Sort of nice not to have the pressure of trying to win a triple crown. Hoping Carter can break his current dry spell of state titles! GO BUDDY GO
