Psalm 127:3-5

Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.

Psalm 127:3-5

The Fossil Gorge

The Fossil Gorge in Iowa City is a really cool place to visit. It was plenty toasty there on Friday. It was great to climb on the rocks, skip some rocks, and see all kinds of fossils. We also sped a few Geodes, which I thought was the neatest part. The three snakes we saw were not all the cool.

We also stopped by the dam and watched the water spill out of that.

Today Dean and the children cleaned up a big mulch pile and moved the rabbits around and cleaned up around them. I took Mackenzie into town in the afternoon so she could meet some friends to clean a park. I did some shopping and saved some more $$. Way fun.

Dean was a busy guy while I was gone doing more organizing. I had already done the spice cupboard in the morning, he was working on a closet and the coat room. They both look very nice. I chipped in when I got home.

Tomorrow we are heading to a freestyle tourney right after Sunday school. Looking forward to it, love that style of wrestling.

  1. You'll have to post photos of the newly organized spaces!
