They are the champions


Lisbon 3rd & 4th grade parks and rec champs!

Cael, Dean, and Quiny  

A 3 hour game that went 2 extra innings ends in a 17-15 win for Lisbon!!  Quincy had a fantastic game - 5 times at the plate, 5 walks, 5 runs scored, and 2 great plays at second base.  Cael pitched 3 innings and settled in real good.  He has been good at the plate all year, and it stayed the same for this game.  It was so much fun for me this year to watch the boys playing together.

You may wonder about the boy in the wheelchair.  This is Jarrett, my nephew, he started as the manager, and eventually became a player.  He played a few innings/games in the outfield, and was allowed to bat and have Uncle Dean pitch to him.  He put the ball in play most times and if a runner was on 3rd they would score.  It was awesome for him to get a chance to play ball.  Almost all boys dream of it, his dream was made true this season.

Congrats boys, it was a great season!!
