Loaded up the kids and took off for Barnes and Noble, bought the book and then got in line. Once we reached him and many small hands reached up to shake his, he took the photo op by stepping out from behind the counter he was standing at

When we left we took a moment to take our photo in front of his bus.

After we went to the African American History Museum. This is a pretty cool museum and it is really great how fast they were able to rebuild and be back after the flood. We were there pre flood but this is our first trip there post flood.
Came home, threw some dinner into the oven and met with a couple who are here right now from France. They are looking for a nanny and would like Mackenzie to come and live with them for at least a year. They got her name from a mutual friend. Sounds like one incredible opportunity, and one she is considering seriously. So much to think about, not just the opportunity but also the changes that will occur while she is gone. Physical changes in family and friends, emotional changes, and time away from what she knows and loves. On the other hand, when would an opportunity like this present itself again? She is more then qualified to watch their 11 month old. Some things to weigh, but right now, she is ready to jump in and experience a whole new culture, language, and lifestyle.
