Tuesday I was in town with 7 of the children. I dropped four off at the movies; Mackenzie, Cael, Quincy, and Addy. I took Cade, Kyler, and Jaycie and ran a few errands. At one point during the morning I had a thought, a question, a quandry.......what would I rather deal with? Butt diarrhea or verbal diarrhea? Hmmmmmmm....... Cade was working a case of verbal diarrhea like none I have ever heard. While at Target I forgot he told me he had to use the bathroom because 800 words were spoken before he mentioned it again. I can only listen to so much. I heard it all, but honestly could not listen to it all. It was non stop, the word 'why' was used as every third word in typical 3 year old fashion.
Today, Cade had what I would like to call an "unfortunate incident" in his underwear. While cleaning up this incident it became VERY clear to me which I would rather deal with. Hands down verbal diarrhea.
Tomorrow Kyler turns 2. Seriously 2? Why do children have to grow up so fast? I really wish I could freeze everyone and just have all the growing up stop.
Had Gabi and Gretchen spend the night last night and Cael and Quincy stayed with Moehlmans. Let's just say breakfast is not the same without those two at the table. I really missed them. They always have great stories.
Addy and I went to the farmer's market this afternoon. It was a lot of fun to hang out with her, and we checked out all sorts of things. Saw more tomato breeds then I have ever imagined. She even brought an extra pair of shoes, guess you never know where the market may take you.
Reegan helped a friend with a lemonade stand today. She has had a very social summer, included a mega overnight party here last Friday. Mega means 11 girls her age. We all survived and the girls had a good time. She has spent time with many friends and many overnights. Mackenzie too has had a very social summer and has discovered the joys of the beach.
Carter and some of his buddies got the idea of getting on their ps3's at midnight last night and playing each other online. There were 6 of them on and they played until about 1:30am. We told him ok but he was not to give us any grief this today due to sleep or lack of. I find it funny that they could not just do this earlier in the night, but I suppose at 13 this seemed like a really cool gig. No harm and he had a great day today as well.
Hey now, let's not make this a comfortable feeling!! Actually in this town we have some great policemen. This is the chief, he has a new ride. Stopped by a friend's house and took his photo with Carter and his buddy Derek. I must say, this is one of the best small town cops, he interacts with the kids all the time, and they respect him.

Psalm 127:3-5
Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.
