Psalm 127:3-5

Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.

A POP BOX MONSTER!!!!

This is Cade sporting a few empty pop boxes.

Hit the Heritage Days festivities this week. Fireworks on Thursday night, and the parade this morning.

Here is my crew and my sister's crew and they are armed and ready for candy. One thing I have realized over the years is that if there is water involved in a parade; such as water balloons, water guns, coolers with left over water in the bottom, then we are getting it. Mostly due to Carter and the number of people who know him and love to get him wet. Today was no different, he was soaked, others were wet, and the blanket needs to be washed.

Addy will be 5 and whole hand on Wednesday. We had her family party today and Kayla one of her cousins turned four last week and so her party was today as well. We all gathered at my in laws for the festivities. Here are some photos from her party. I am thinking on Wednesday taking her to get a new bike and then perhaps going to one of the splash pads in Cedar Rapids.

Hey, Cade did you just see the pop box monster?

Tomorrow Cael gets to celebrate his birthday. His is December 21st and he really wanted to play football for his party. We decided to have his party in the summer and cook out hot dogs, have some chips, sundaes, and a cooler of pop!! Hope there is no rain and the boys can play.

Hey, I really dislike it when I take Jack on a walk and he poops right away. I am left carrying a bag of poop. "Hey Dawn, what cha doing?" "Nothing much just walking around with a bag of poop........and a dog."
