Applington Parkersburg

We hit this tourney today. 15 kids from our club attended. Had a great time, saw some great wrestling, the kids made some great memories for themselves and for the parents, and they came home with the team title. This is what youth wrestling is all about. Grandpa Ken came over to watch, he just loves it.

I often hear from so many people why we do not send Carter to these big national tournaments. Well, one of the bigger ones was this weekend too. I would much rather Carter have three pretty easy matches and get to be a part of this type of day then to send him off to wrestle in another state. Sure a part of me would really like to see how he can do, I have a pretty good idea he could hold his own pretty good. But more important is the things that a day like today were made out of.
